ORIENTATION DAY 15/2/2017 

Phone Abmusic on 94589077 to register your interest to attend our Orientation Day on the 15th of Feb 2017 from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
The day will start with Morning Tea followed by a meeting with some guest speakers including former student and professional singer 'Doreen Pensio'. This will then finish with a tour around the College. 

ABMUSIC NAIDOC CONCERT 2016 

Abmusic are celebrating NAIDOC 2016 with a family fun BBQ day with Live Music and a Young Performers Contest with children from various schools. The event will start at 11am with some live entertainment by the Abmusic students and the contest starting at 12pm finishing at 1pm. Free Sausage Sizzle provided for the Community.

SHARING SONGS IN THE PARK 1 APRIL 2016 

With the City of South Perth, On Friday 1 April 2016, Abmusic will be running an unplugged performance and workshop in the park titled 'Sharing Songs In The Park'. At this event the City of South Perth will be providing FREE PIZZA! Running from 4pm - 6pm. Come down to have a jam or simple just kick back and listen to music.

We are excited to announce our Finale Event for 2015. Abmusic Presents Wanjoo Birak Festival Proudly Supported by the Australian Government. Held at Abmusic on Nov 28 between 12pm and 4pm. 

We are welcoming the Summer with live music from the best upcoming Indigenous talent joined with the funkiest brass band in Perth, Junkadelic. Enjoy a yummy Sausage Sizzle or Kangaroo Stew and Damper.

Browse stalls, enter in raffles to win some great prizes, play games and let your kids enjoy Cultural Activities with Headband Making, Beading, Didge Workshops, Colouring Competition and Face Painting. A massive bouncy castle will also be open for more fun, fun fun for the kids!

Tours are also available on the day as well as face painting for the kids. Open free to the community! Event runs 12pm - 3pm located at Abmusic main stage area at 295 Manning Road Waterford (Clontarf Campus)
 

Free APRA Workshop! 

Indigenous Songwriters are invited to an exclusive APRA workshop held at Abmusic College on Tuesday Feb 17th starting at 10:30am. 
Speakers are:
Michael Hutchings -Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Music Office (Sydney)
& Tenille Elkins - Senior Writer Services Representative – WA Perth Office 

Session will include: 
  • What is APRA AMCOS and how do they help songwriters
  • What is copyright
  • When should you join
  • How do APRA AMCOS collect royalties on songwriters behalf
  • The ATSI Music Office and how it helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and industry.
  • Assistance with signing up new members

Supporting Indigenous Musicians Fundraiser! 

Bring your family and friends down to Abmusic College on August 3rd for an outdoor community open fundraiser filled with great entertainment for all. The day will include childrens entertainment, stalls, sausage sizzle and raffles. The event starts at 12pm with a sausage sizzle and live bands starting from 1pm including the beautiful and talented Delta Oui and Torres Strait Islander dance group Loza. Headlining the event is the award winning band Jake and The Cowboys. This event is a no smoking and no alcohol event. Bring your picnic blanket and chairs. Don't miss out and please help us support Indigenous Music!
